 Next weekend I will be participating in "Stitches 'n Stone", a central Vermont quilt festival in Barre, Old Labor Hall, Friday May 8 (3-8) and Saturday May 9 (9-5). The wesite is www.cvquiltshow.com .

I've been madly producing small, mostly indigo, squares for quilters for this event. If they don't buy 'em I can make boatloads of potholders!Really, it's been fun to do something outside of my usual shirts/scarves and I've learned quite a lot , too - largely about how great indigo looks dyed over yellowish fabric:  It almost retains that beautiful green color indigo has when first pulled out of the dye pot.
