I just posted my teaching and show schedule for the coming year in the "Schedule" section of this website. I'm teaching three workshops in katazome - again at Fletcher Farm School, at Frog Hollow School in Middlebury, and at Brookfield Craft Cener in Connecticut, which is near where I grew up and where, unbelievably, 37 years ago, I took a workshop in natural dyes. (Even more unbelievable, I still have the notebook from the class, and my samples are still are beautiful, not faded at all).  I will again be at the Vermont Flower Show, Matsuri, and the Richmond Farmers' Market, among some other places,  and I'm waiting to hear if I've been accepted into a couple of new (to me) shows.

And here, as promised, are pictures of some shirts I have for sale. The design is my original - "Birds, Branches, and Moon," inspired by the peaceful summer up here in the mountains. There's also my design of a rabbit jumping through leaves and berries on the back of the shirt, and a design on one of the sleeves. The colors are either a soft lavender blue or a light sage green. The cotton shirts are very, very soft. Sizes from S- 2XL run a bit small, so most people buy a size bigger than usual. I have most sizes - I will make other sizes as ordered (wait would be about a week). Cost is $52 plus $5 shipping. Now, I don't have this all officially in my shopping section at this point, so just contact me if you'd like to buy a shirt and we'll figure it out.

After my usual winter slowdown and doldrums, I am suddenly inspired (maybe by the clothing of the fabulous Mrs. Obama?) and am working on sewing up some fabric I dyed this summer into garments.
