Beware Enterprises That Require New Booth Furniture?

March 3, 2010

In my long, long absence from this blog, I've decided to abandon, for now, the hand-dyed clothing that I've been doing for years and have moved into dyeing table linens. What a fun change for me...and now I'm working in organic cotton, linen, and hemp. Different textures, different colors, a whole new world. As a result, I'm planning ahead for how to display this new line of work- one slow evening at my "day" job I went so far as to build a little 3-D model. Stay tuned.

Hourglass Quickly Running Out

9/22/09

The first day of fall, which means the Big Shows are just ahead - first the Weston Playhouse Show, then the Art and Artisans Show in Jericho, with the four-day marathon at the Sheraton in Burlington just after. I am spending long days producing -- the momentum feels great. As usual I tell myself I should work this hard in the slow months of January, February, and March, then I wouldn't be so frantic in the fall. Maybe this will be the year I'll listen to myself.  Some new scarves pictured below:
